Hi, I was just wondering.
Thinking about Fahrenheit451 by Ray Braduburry made me realise that we attribute
to books as a whole a huge power and potential in changing people's mind,
educating them, and contributing to their development and critical thinking.
But what makes a book a real game-changer?
Can all books contribute to one's development and education?
What caracterises a meaningul book?

I've thought about this a lot. I think what makes books so powerful at
changing minds and people is that the images in them are created by our
own brains. Unlike when we watch a movie or TV show, where the images
are shown to us passively. When our minds have to build the images from
scratch I think it helps build empathy. I read an article about fiction
specifically and empathy, I will try to find it for you.
